About Us
Quentin has never known life outside of the farm! He was raising cattle along side his father as soon as he was walking. At its peak, he and his father Tommy cared for a herd of 100+ mama cows and their babies. Kristen got her start in the cattle industry, bottle feeding babies at the age of four alongside her grandfather Robert Hall. They value faith, farmers, agriculture, and the life lessons of hard work that farm life provides! They have two boys Graham and Cohen who are diving in head first to the farming lifestyle. Their boys also provide compassionate care to the cows- some of which become family.
Our cows are raised in a natural environment with spacious pastures and beautiful rolling hills. The care they receive begins on their first day of life to ensure they are healthy and happy. Our herd produces calves in both Spring and Fall enabling us to have market produce year round. Our most recent heifers completed genetic testing with results indicative of a high-quality marbling- enabling tenderness and flavor that is supreme.
Namesake
Little Mara, pictured here was the inspiration for our farm name. She roamed near “the point” of the farm for most of her days. Thus “Mara’s Point” was born. Her mother, Mara was also a longhorn raised by Quentin’s grandfather, Frank Riley. They came to live on our farm in 1996 after his passing where Quentin’s father, Tommy cared for them for over 25 years.
